Part American classic & part European rustic, this home’s decor is absolutely timeless. Bathed in soft light against an all shades of white canvas, the neo-traditional furnishings blend in and look like they’ve always belonged… just right there. Not an inch to the right or an inch to the left, just there. Although this home feels very grown-up, it is also relaxed and current. Nothing frumpy or passé here.
I love how very modern the kitchen, with as a counter part, the dining room that exudes an air of French country that is dear to my heart. How awesome is that unadorned shelf where all the dish ware is exposed rather than having them clutter the kitchen’s open shelves as we often see? And how about the farmhouse table right in the middle of the hustle bustle of the kitchen? It reminds me, once more, how tired I am of these super sterile and institutional kitchens that were designed with “resale value” in mind rather than comfortable living charm. And this kitchen is just the opposite. Just pure lovely.
