There are moments in life that have to be celebrated. Milestones that will quickly pass and yet leave a permanent mark in the fabric of our lives. The first birthday of my children was such an event. A bittersweet moment as my littlest, Teddy, celebrated his first birthday today. My baby boy turned one and we made sure it was picture perfect!

The chosen theme was ELMO (from Sesame Street…for those who have not listened to the furry red monster in some time). As much as I am a cartoon lover, I have to say I do not care much for all the commercial “gizmos” that accompany such themes. Colour was the inspiration for the creation of the table and its content.
