In the realm of exotic escapes, this Namibian destination gets my vote! If the surroundings of the hotel were not enough, look at the inside’s design! :o)
Under taut tents of white canvas the hotel’s lobby, casually comfortable in shades of grey and white, could very well be seen in a Manhattan of London location.
The metal riveted bathtub is a show stopper resting on the polished concrete floor. A simple log stool, painted in black, is an ideal perch for toiletries of a plush towel.
Communal resting areas are vibrant and peaceful at the same time. What caught my eye are the brass trays on tall skinny legs as well as the leather cube ottomans used as extra seatings for larger gatherings.
The bedrooms have a very occidental layout with the wall sconces, the wooden bench at the foot of the king size bed (made of 2 single beds) and plush pillows.
And if none of the decor tickles your fancy… well there is always the breathtaking vistas!
