Leave it to Emily Henderson and her creative team to makeover a frumpy and dull kitchen into a cool and colourful space. Bright and light, the space appears huge despite it’s galley shape. Actually, you know what? That’s one of the things I love about this room. I have a serious pet peeve with the kitchen that are so open onto the dining room that it is virtually impossible to hide away any of your cooking mess while your guests are sitting at the table. Give me a real working space, with tons of storage and a far enough eating area that I feel comfortable cooking up a storm. There I said it.
Moving on to the the floor tile and cabinet colour combination. It’s a true breath of fresh air to see some real colour in what has, in the recent years, been a sea of institutional whites and stainless steel. Finish off with gold accents and some pops of red, here and there, to make the Wolf gas range feel right at home and you’ve got yourself a really great kitchen.
