I do like me a good boy’s room. Not that there aren’t that many to choose from of course. I think it’s more a question of other parts of a home usually getting all the attention (hello hogging kitchen and living room). Also, boys rooms are often too “theme-y” to be deemed bloggable, featuring some sort of super hero or another or being cast into a racing pilot’s or hockey player’s role with the racing stripes or goal light.
What I do like though, is a room that lets the boy grow and evolve, that has some sort of a theme but discreet enough that it doesn’t put a lid on all of his other interests. It is a room that is bright, light, with loads of storage for all the Knicks knacks. It is a room that he will like at 12 and at 18 just the same. It is timeless, just like this one.
