Last seen in numbers back in the &#8217;70&#8217;s and &#8217;80&#8217;s, plants have slowly been replaced by lifeless objects, in metal, ceramic, wood or textile, placed on shelves and coffee tables in order to fill empty spaces and create ambiances. Yes these objects are easy to care for, do not risk dying on us at the first signs of over watering or of dryness, but they lack that one single element that makes plants so much better and it is: life. Plants are perfectly imperfect. They grow at their own pace, following the sun, demanding water and nutrients and giving back to their owners in bright leaves and lush foliages.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I used to kill even cacti, it was horrible. Until someone suggested I get a <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2o0eu6v\">moisture sensor<\/a>\u00a0which has completely changed my relationship with indoor plants. Because it seems our biggest fault is to water our plants too much, drenching their roots and killing them in the process. Since then, our home has grown (oof pun intended) with many plants to everyone&#8217;s delight and caring for my green friends\u00a0has become one of my favorite zen moment, even involving the random song to the plants. There I\u00a0said it. :)<\/p>\n<p>Moral of the story? Get a plant&#8230; or two or three. Rediscover your long forgotten green thumb and envoy seeing some green into your decor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19758\"
